Which Sprinter Do I Have? T1N, NCV3, and VS30 Explained

Sprinter parts are chassis-specific, and ordering by model year alone is how people end up with a box that does not fit. There are three generations on the road in North America.

T1N (2002 to 2006)

Sold as a Freightliner or Dodge Sprinter. Round headlights, simpler dash, and the OM647 2.7L inline-five turbodiesel. Parts availability is thinning out, which is exactly why we stock them.

NCV3 (2007 to 2018)

The long-running generation. The OM642 3.0L V6 is the engine most people mean when they say Sprinter diesel. 2007 through 2009 vans have some early-production differences, so engine code and year both matter when ordering.

VS30 (2019 and newer)

Redesigned dash with the MBUX screen, available front-wheel drive, and both the OM642 V6 and the OM654 four-cylinder. Heavier front axle loads than NCV3, which changes brake and bearing specs.
