Any time an injector comes out, the hold-down bolt and the sealing washer need to be replaced.

The bolt is a stretch bolt. Once it has been torqued, it’s already stretched and shouldn’t be used again — reused bolts are known to snap or lose clamping force.

The sealing washer is the same story. It’s a crush washer, and once it’s compressed against the injector tip, it won’t seal properly a second time.

Replacing both pieces isn’t about upselling — it’s simply what keeps the injector seated correctly, prevents blow-by, and saves you from bigger problems later.
