Mercedes Sprinter Right Intercooler Hose – OEM Replacement (Early NCV3) | #9065280382
A cracked or collapsed intercooler hose is one of the sneakiest causes of boost loss on a Sprinter — the symptoms feel like a failing turbo, but the fix is a fraction of the cost. This right-side (passenger side) intercooler outlet hose connects the intercooler to the engine's intake air flap, delivering cooled charge air where it needs to go. If this hose fails, your engine is starved of proper airflow and your turbo efficiency drops immediately.
What This Part Does
This is the cold-side outlet hose — the shorter of the two intercooler air hoses on early NCV3 Sprinters. It runs from the right (passenger) side of the intercooler directly to the intake air flap on the front of the engine. Once the intercooler has cooled the compressed charge air, this hose carries it into the engine for combustion.
When to Replace It
Inspect this hose if your Sprinter is experiencing reduced power, sluggish throttle response, or audible boost leaks. Replace if you find cracks, soft spots, swelling, or soot and oil residue around the connection points. It's also a smart preventive replacement during any intercooler or turbo service.
