This is the Bosch OEM AdBlue heating unit specifically for Sprinters equipped with option code KP2, where the smaller 12-liter AdBlue tank is mounted in the engine compartment rather than under the cargo area. What This Part Does

The DEF tank heater keeps AdBlue/diesel exhaust fluid above its freezing point so the SCR system can operate in cold weather. The integrated level sensor monitors fluid quantity and sends data to the instrument cluster and ECU. The temperature sensor ensures the heater activates at the correct threshold. When any of these components fail, the ECU triggers warning lights — and if left unaddressed, engine derate follows.
