This is the OEM Wahler EGR valve with gasket for 2010–2022 NCV3 and VS30 Sprinters with the 3.0L OM642 V6. Includes the replacement gasket — no need to source it separately.

What This Part Does

The EGR valve recirculates a controlled portion of exhaust gases back into the intake manifold, reducing combustion temperatures and cutting harmful NOx emissions. The BlueTec OM642 uses an electronically controlled EGR valve that modulates flow based on engine load, temperature, and operating conditions. Over time, carbon deposits from EGR gases accumulate in the valve body, causing it to stick open or closed — degrading combustion efficiency and triggering fault codes.
